RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY – ARKAYA CANDLES

INTRODUCTION
This Return & Exchange Policy applies to all purchases made through our website, official store, or any digital platform under the ownership of Arkaya Candles.
We take immense pride in crafting premium, handcrafted candles with utmost care and attention to detail.
Due to the delicate nature of our products, as well as hygiene, safety, and custom production considerations,
Arkaya Candles follows a strict No Return, No Exchange, No Cancellation policy.
By placing an order with Arkaya Candles, you acknowledge and accept all the terms and conditions stated in this policy.
SECTION 1: GENERAL RETURN POLICY – NO RETURNS ACCEPTED
Under no circumstances does Arkaya Candles accept any kind of returns. This includes, but is not limited to:

Buyer’s remorse or change of mind

Dislike of fragrance, colour, shape, size, or design

Allergic reactions to candle ingredients

Delays in courier delivery

Orders placed by mistake or under incorrect assumptions

Gifting issues (e.g., recipient did not like it or received it late)

Damaged packaging where product inside is unaffected

Melting or fragrance diffusion caused by climate or heat
Our products are non-returnable for both standard and bulk orders, including wedding favours, event gifting, or corporate orders.
SECTION 2: EXCHANGE POLICY – NO EXCHANGES ACCEPTED
We do not support or process any kind of product exchange. Once a product is sold and delivered:

We do not exchange one candle for another, regardless of fragrance, value, or reason.

We do not accept exchanges based on customer preference.

We do not offer refunds or replacements due to expectations mismatch or minor imperfections.
Every candle is handcrafted and may carry slight variations in colour, texture, fragrance strength, or appearance. These are not considered defects and do not qualify for exchange.
SECTION 3: NON-CANCELLATION CLAUSE
Orders once placed cannot be cancelled under any situation. Our system begins production and packaging immediately to maintain prompt delivery. Cancellation requests made via email, WhatsApp, or social media will not be acknowledged or fulfilled.
We do not issue refunds for cancelled orders under any personal, professional, or emotional reason.
SECTION 4: WRONG ITEM / WRONG ADDRESS PROVIDED BY CUSTOMER
If incorrect delivery information is provided by the customer:

Arkaya Candles is not responsible for lost, misrouted, or undelivered packages.

No refund or exchange will be provided.

Any additional re-shipping cost must be paid by the customer in advance.
If the customer orders the wrong product and wishes to rectify it after placing the order, no change or refund will be entertained.
SECTION 5: DAMAGED PRODUCTS – LIMITED LIABILITY
At Arkaya Candles, we do not accept any returns or exchanges under any circumstances.
Please read this policy very carefully before placing your order.
All products are packed with protective materials to avoid damage during transit. However, in the rare event of genuine damage to your parcel:
- You must record a continuous 360° unboxing video from the moment you receive and open the sealed package. The video must clearly show the outer packaging, seal, and full opening process in one take, without cuts or edits.
- Only if such an unboxing video proves that the product has been tampered with or completely destroyed in transit, Arkaya Candles may process a full refund or reshipment.
- Without a proper 360° unboxing video, no claim will be entertained. Photographs or partial videos will not be accepted.
- Cosmetic issues such as minor dents, scratches, softened wax, melted edges, heat discoloration, or small cracks in jars are not considered damage and are not eligible for any resolution.
- All decisions regarding refunds, reshipments, or store credits rest solely with Arkaya Candles.
Important: If you fail to provide the required 360° unboxing video, no refund, return, exchange, or compensation will be issued.
Refund Timeline: If a refund is approved, it will be automatically processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note, it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to reflect the refund.
SECTION 6: HANDMADE PRODUCTS CLAUSE
Each candle is handcrafted in small batches. Slight imperfections are inherent and considered part of the artisanal nature of the product. These may include:

Variation in colour tones between batches

Texture differences
-
Bubble formation
-
Slight weight or dimension changes
-
Fragrance strength variations due to ingredient origin
Such natural inconsistencies are not product faults and do not entitle the buyer to returns, exchanges, or refunds.
SECTION 7: BULK & CUSTOM ORDERS
All bulk orders, such as wedding favours, party gifts, and corporate gifting, are handled through manual confirmation and require 100% prepaid confirmation.

These orders are non-refundable and non-cancellable once the invoice is paid.

Returns and exchanges are not applicable under any circumstances.

Damaged claims must follow the 24-hour rule and be supported by visual proof.
If incorrect quantity, variant, or address is shared by the customer, Arkaya Candles is not liable to issue any resolution or refund.
SECTION 8: GIFTING POLICY
Products purchased for gifting purposes are treated as normal purchases. We do not accept:

Returns for gifts not accepted by the recipient

Exchanges if the gift was incorrect

Refunds for undelivered gifts due to recipient unavailability
Gift wrapping charges (if applicable) are non-refundable.
SECTION 9: REFUND EXCLUSION
Arkaya Candles is a zero-refund brand. Refunds are not issued for:

Online payment failure once order is placed

Delay in courier beyond 6 business days

Order placement without reading this return policy

Cases of dissatisfaction with fragrance, burn quality, or packaging
If payment has been deducted twice due to a technical error, a refund will be issued only after validating the transaction with our payment gateway (PhonePe OR Razorpay). It may take up to 7–10 business days to reflect in your account.
SECTION 10: LEGAL PROTECTION – OUR RIGHTS
Arkaya Candles holds the legal right to:

Deny any claim of refund, return, or exchange even if raised publicly on social media or review platforms.

Take legal action if false claims or chargebacks are made with the intent of financial manipulation.

Ban customers from future purchases if they repeatedly attempt to misuse our policies.

Treat any act of verbal or digital abuse against our brand as grounds for blacklisting and legal escalation.
This policy is designed to legally and financially protect Arkaya Candles from unnecessary and fraudulent returns. We invest significant time and labor into handcrafting each product and cannot afford reversal logistics for artisanal goods.
SECTION 11: CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
It is the buyer’s responsibility to:
